Thats one mistake he will regret 4ever.

I would like to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. That really sucks for him.

I read this story elsewhere and I do give him credit for turning himself in. Perhaps he should've done it immediately, but at the very least he turned himself in later.

Losing the deer would suck, the rest of this would really suck: He faces a mandatory jail term of 5-93 days, a $1,000 fine and loss of hunting privileges for three years.

If it was an honest mistake, he's definetly gonna suffer for it.

Forgot to buy a license? Yea right. More likely a serial poacher who poached the deer at night and knew he couldn't brag/capitalize on the monster without a valid license. I don't buy the story at all.
