I've seen so many guys put cheap scopes on $1000 guns and it's never made much sense to me.

Most cheap rifles can shoot well enough in hunting situations that the difference isn't noticeable, but cheap optics, rings and mounts are a recipe for disaster @ a time when you least can afford it.

Man, that sounds like fun! 21 coyotes?!?! That is awesome action. Way to go, Scott! I'm on my way to buy a NEF .223!!

made some sets this weekend...called alot...never saw a thing...

well done guys...

i always carry my 17 HMR wehn out shed hunting just in case i kick up any coyotes they're bad on fawns but way worse on turkeys

coyotes almost rank right up there with big bucks on my list of favorite critters to hunt. called in a pair saturday night with just the howler and killed them both (at nearly midnight.) moonlight, snow cover, and the breeding season: a killer combination.

Hows the new site coming Mike? jw

Way to go fellas! I just got in 'Yote, my 3d coyote decoy from EdgeByExpecite. Haven't gotten to use it yet, but with peak breeding season here it has to work. They have been really active midday here. Anyone out there use this decoy yet?

I have NEF 22-250, I use for coyotes, It's a tack driver at 150 yds, I have a five shot group with all holes touching. Only cost me about 220 bucks with a scope.
