Cool story but I can't tell how "blue" it really is, I guess its just the lighting in the photo but it looks kind of light grayish..would love to see some photos of the mount when you get back Rick..maybe with something blue next to just to show its true colors lol..cool story

That is a really good idea, I will ask Rick to send us a pic when mounted--he told me a couple of times you can really appreciate how blue the deer is until you see it in person (or at least maybe when we can see the mount).

Cool lookin' buck and cool lookin' gun!

Way to go Rick!

Hey Mike, Really cool deer. Did anyone notice the deer's nose, looks red...lighted...Christmas Eve..... Rudolph???? I know its not a reindeer, but???

That's very cool. I would love to see the buck's picutre if it could be lit right to bring out the blue color. Awesome Mauser, Rick!

Anyone else catch what he said? And find it both odd, and sad, that we need to even state today, that the deer was free ranging?

Just me being me, but should there be any way to hunt other than free ranging? Free ranging equals fair chase.
